Zero Balancing®
Zero Balancing® (ZB) is a hands-on body-mind system of therapy that balances the relationship of energy and structure within the bones and tissues of the body. ZB promotes internal balance and harmony through the use of skilled touch. A ZB session consists of gentle acupressure focusing on joints and bones. The session takes 40 minutes to an hour and the client is fully clothed during the session.
Your practitioner will assess your body for tension, particularly tension held in the bones, joints and skeletal structure. Then, your Zero Balancer will place gentle finger pressure (fulcrums) into foundational areas including spine, hips, feet and neck to release held tension.
ZB provides clients the possibility of health and healing at the deepest level of energy flow in the body – the skeletal system. By working with bone energy, ZB provides relief from pain, anxiety and stress while facilitating a profound experience of wellness and integration. Aligning energy with structure enhances the body’s natural healing processes and supports optimum health. Many people initially seek ZB to relieve symptoms but continue receiving sessions as their quality of life improves.

Trager® Approach
The Trager® Approach is a mind-body approach to movement education. It is a system of gentle, rhythmic movement and touch aimed at facilitating deep relaxation, increased physical mobility, and promoting the body’s optimal performance.
There are several aspects of the approach: one in which the client, fully clothed, passively receives the movement work on a massage table. A Trager® session can be 1 to 1 ½ hours.
Trager® moves you in ways that you would naturally move, giving you a feeling of effortless motion. As your mind and body yield to these soft, wave-like movements, tensions disappear and new movement patterns become possible.
With the release of physical patterns, the mind and body will recognize the feel of its’ own natural, free flowing motion. This feeling is used by the client to realize their own self-care movements. The client uses their self-care movements to keep this feeling of being lighter, looser and freer.
The last aspect of the Trager® Approach is a form of neuromuscular education called Reflex Response. This aspect of Dr. Milton Trager’s work actively involves the client in awakening the connection between mind and body.
Trager® and Zero Balancing® sessions are cumulative, with subsequent sessions allowing for deeper and longer lasting change.
